すぐ近所の製材所の方が敷地にフジバカマを植えてアサギマダラが飛んでくるのを待っていたんだけど、正直、こんだけ小さい面積で来るわけないって思っていたら、4羽も飛んで来ていてビツクリ。

無農薬の田んぼの何が大変って、やはり除草作業、これに尽きるのではないでしょうか。うちの田んぼたちは無農薬６年目ですが、だんだん草が生えなくなってきています。うきさとの池添友一くんも同じこと言っていたな。

2017年6月13日、にじまる農園ににわとり10羽がやってきました。ずっとやりたかった平飼い養鶏。やっと叶いました。育苗ハウスを改造して鶏舎に仕立てて、しばらくはここで暮らしてもらいます。嬉しいな。
